About the Composer

Mildred West Wiseman Packard's music has been performed in symphony halls, churches and recital halls throughout the world.  Her christmas song "Holy Child" is quite remarkable. It features a contralto soloist accompanied by a choir, piano and orchestra (optional).

Her compositions are in many styles, from serious choral music for the trained choir to light solo songs. Many of the piano accompaniments need a skilled artist to perform them.  Her spiritual themes are appropriate for sacred meetings and give a deep devotion to scriptural texts.
